Emotional Regulation refers to the subconscious and conscious process through which individuals influence their emotions, how they experience them, and how they express them. When we are able to notice that we have been triggered, hijacked by emotions of anger, fear, anxiety or similar emotions and able to manage those emotional responses in variosu situations, bringing ourselves back to calm, or content within a short time, either consciously or subconsciously then we have regulated our emotions. This includes enhancing, maintaining, or dampening different aspects of emotional experiences, such as feelings, thoughts san dphysiological responses.
Many of us are unable to do this and find ourselvces in an emotinally disregulated state for hours or days. This can impact all relationships, engagement at work, our productivity, creativity and efficiency.
At Life Harmony Coaching Consulting we provide you with the understanding of yourself, what drives your behaviour and reactive tendencies and provide you with the skills to be more efficient at regulating your emotions, resulting in living more optimally.

Sophie Barcant offers training and coaching in Neuro-leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Communication.
Frustrated people cannot be highly engaged or very productive.
The skills and understanding she offers to those seeking to inspire, lead and manage others results in happy people feeling valued and significant. With this in mind, companies can save money by reducing employee turnover, struggling with dysfunctional teams and low employee engagement.
Her passion is to guide others to understand and grow in awareness as to what drives their behaviour and that of others, understand emotional regulation, and with appropriate communication skills to productively manage conflicts. With this understanding, they are better equipped to build and maintain healthy relationships both in the workplace and in their personal lives.
Her life's work of studying and teaching about what drives human behaviour and how to overcome being our own worst enemy, growing in resilience with a growth mindset and strong emotional regulation muscles, and her passion for harmony in relationships enables her to support others in their quests. This understanding along with good integration of empathy and compassion (which comes from God’s Divine Grace and having 8 children and married 34 years!) enables Sophie to offer this.
